TIRANA, March 18/ATA/ In context of his official visit to Spain, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha visited the Spanish Senate. There he met with the First Vice President of the Spanish Senate Javier Maroto, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee Pilar Rojo Noguera, as well as with members of the Senate.
FM Hoxha wrote on the X platform that, “The meetings focused on advancing Albania’s EU accession and monitoring the broader enlargement process”.
Hoxha noted that the joint commitment to a credible and merit-based membership process was reinforced with Senate members.
“I expressed my gratitude for Spain’s continued support, while we also exchanged views on transatlantic relations and the growing role of the Parliamentary diplomacy”, wrote Hoxha. /e.i/j.p/p.s./
