Rama: A circular economy model that eliminates waste and promotes resource efficiency

TIRANA, February 22/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted today the circular economy as an approach that is being embraced by a growing number of Albanian enterprises.

According to Rama, this approach is based on the reuse, recycling and creation of new products, reducing waste and generating added value for the economy.

The prime minister highlighted as an example the Everest company in the production of aluminum profiles, where each product begins its cycle from recycled raw materials and ends in a certified and patented final product, which is exported to international markets and remains 100% recyclable.

In this way, the materials recovered from restorations or industrial processes are returned to the production cycle, minimizing waste and creating a closed production chain.

Rama emphasized that this is a concrete model that proves that innovation, industrial development and environmental protection can go hand in hand, as part of meeting the standards and requirements for European integration in the field of the environment. /gj.m/j.p/p.s./
