Rama: Dashnor Sula takes on personal challenge as chief inspector, fully qualified for the role

TIRANA, Feb 13 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the appointment of Dashnor Sula, the newly appointed Chief Inspector and former Democratic Party (DP) MP, describing the position as a personal challenge for him to tackle the existing issues in the market.

In a meeting on the reform of the inspection system, Rama recalled the criticism Sula had directed at the government during his time in the opposition.
“The Chief Inspector comes from a career that has encompassed both political and legal aspects, and he possesses extensive experience in the justice system. He is fully qualified to assume this role,” stated Prime Minister Rama.
For the Prime Minister, this is a crucial moment to work more closely on improving the inspection system and ensuring transparency and efficiency in handling complaints and inspections, with a focus on fair and equal competition for all entrepreneurs.
Prime Minister Edi Rama acknowledged the natural division in politics but stressed the importance of collaboration when it comes to national objectives. “While political differences are expected in a democratic system, working together on common goals, within the time available, is crucial,” he said. Rama also referred to his past criticism in Parliament, adding, “Now, we’ll see how he handles the issues he once criticized us for not addressing properly.”
