Exhibition of medieval artifacts on Greek Language Day

TIRANA, February 12/ATA/ In context of the Greek Language Day, the Greek Consulate in Korça, in collaboration with the National Museum of Medieval Art, staged the exhibition “The Greek Language through the Artifacts of the National Museum of Medieval Art”.

The exhibition presents a special selection of artifacts from the museum fund, in which the Greek language appears as a means of speech, communication and spirituality in the Balkan heritage.

Also present at the event was Prefect of Korça Florinda Zegullaj who said that the language is not simply a means of communication, but a means to record memory, identity and civilization.

“Such activities prove that culture builds bridges of understanding and dialogue that withstand time. They invite us to see history not as a division, but as a space for meeting”, said prefect Zegullaj.

The artifacts selected from the museum fund are evidence of the influence of the Greek language on the Balkan artistic and cultural heritage and a bridge of communication and coexistence between peoples. /j.p/p.s./
