TIRANA, Feb 10 /ATA/ Albania and Belgium have launched a joint digital platform for the real-time management of irregular migration cases.
The Ministry of Interior stated that the platform represents a new level of bilateral institutional cooperation, positioning Albania among the first countries in Europe to implement an integrated electronic system for managing, coordinating, and monitoring deportation procedures.
The system aims to enhance the efficiency of procedures by streamlining administrative processes, reducing bureaucratic burden, and strengthening inter-institutional coordination between the authorities of the two countries.
The digital platform also ensures a higher level of transparency, standardized procedures, and secure real-time information exchange, contributing to improved management of irregular migration cases.
The launch of this platform is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international cooperation and align Albania’s migration practices with European standards. /j.p/sm/
