TIRANA, Feb 8 /ATA/ – Albania’s AI-generated Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence “Diella” has been awarded the “Future Fit Seal” at this year’s edition of the World Governments Summit in the United Arab Emirates earlier this week.
Speaking on his “Flasim” (Let’s Talk) podcast on Sunday, Prime Minister Edi Rama said the recognition marked an important international endorsement of Albania’s use of artificial intelligence in the public interest.
“The award for Diella is a significant and meaningful encouragement, especially as it places Albania among the countries recognised by this prestigious global summit,” Rama said.
He noted that the World Government Summit serves as a key international forum on the future of governance, focusing on how technology is reshaping the relationship between states and citizens.
Rama said Albania was once again in the global spotlight, this time for a digital product that remains under development and is expected to draw broader international attention in the near future.
