TIRANA, February 7/ATA/ Bad weather has caused landslides along Theth-Ndërlysaj road.
Mayor of Shkodra Benet Beci said that the relevant teams have been engaged on the ground to open the road and restore the movement of vehicles to normality.
Beci emphasized that the work is going on and will continue even during the late evening hours because there have been identified several other points where intervention is required.
According to Beci, the main goal is for the traffic to resume as quickly as possible and guarantee the safety for residents and travelers.
“To provide a final solution to this problem, Shkodra Municipality has applied for a project that foresees intervention on the side of the road, with the construction of protective dams, to prevent other landslides and to increase safety on this important tourist and vital road for the area”, said Beci. /e.i/j.p/p.s./
