TIRANA, Feb 6 /ATA/ The OSCE Ambassador in Tirana Michel Tarran met today with the newly appointed Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Joni Keta, to congratulate him on his appointment and to reaffirm the OSCE Presence’s continued support to the Bureau.
Ambassador Tarran emphasized the Presence’s strong commitment to ongoing co-operation with the NBI, recognizing its key role in strengthening the rule of law and combating serious and organized crime. The discussion highlighted shared priorities and the importance of continuity in institutional collaboration.
The OSCE Presence in Albania remains ready to continue supporting the NBI under its new leadership, in line with its mandate to promote integrity, accountability and public trust in justice institutions.
