TIRANA, February 4/ATA/ Head of the Constitutional Court Fiona Papajorgji received today in a courtesy meeting the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to our country Gabriel Cremades Ventura.
Ambassador Cremades congratulated Papajorgji on taking over this important job and reconfirmed the continued support of Spain especially for strengthening the justice system in Albania and the country’s European integration process.
During the meeting, the interlocutors highlighted the very good relations between the respective Constitutional Courts and the readiness to further promote cooperation in areas of common interest, in order to consolidate the rule of law and build the institutional capacities.
Papajorgji also expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in organizing the World Congress of Law, as well as the selection of Albania as the host country of this Congress in 2027. This reflects the significant progress of the reforms undertaken in the justice system in Albania and offers a unique platform for the exchange of experience, promotion of international cooperation and the democratic values that underpin the rule of law. /m.q/r.e/a.f/p.s./
