TIRANA, February 2/ATA/ The Special Court of the First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime decided today to send for trial the mayor of Tropoja Rexhë Byberi and his deputy Abedin Kërnaja.
They are accused of the criminal offenses of “Abuse of office”, committed in collaboration. More concretely, they are accused by SPAK of failing to implement the legal procedures during building of the “Palç Ship Station-Guri i Lules” road, which has caused economic damage of 277 million lekë.
The trial file carries all the investigation materials and the statements of the citizens questioned in the capacity of persons who are aware of the circumstances of the event. /m.q/a.f/r.e/p.s./
