TIRANA, January 21 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived in Vlora this evening, where he had dinner with Ivanka Trump, the daughter of President of the United States Donald Trump and a group of international architects.
According to the media reports, the talks focused on the new development projects and ideas, related to strategic investments and the urban vision in the Vlora area.
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have previously expressed interest in development projects in the city and surrounding areas, with particular emphasis on Zvërnec and Sazan Island, considered areas with high strategic and tourist potential.
After dinner, Rama and Ivanka Trump stayed for a few moments outside the premises where the meeting took place, exchanging brief conversations, while everything was under strict security measures.
Afterwards, Ivanka Trump and PM Rama departed in a car in the direction of Orikum.
According to the Euronews TV, President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner did not attend the dinner. He was in Vlora for a few hours in the morning and then left for Davos.
Ivanka Trump arrived this morning in the coastal city of Vlora, accompanied under strict security measures by the Police, while she stayed in one of the hotels in the “Cold Water” area.
As media correspondents report, Ivanka Trump visited the Novosela area and then Zvërnec. Also, her itinerary included the coastal area known as Porto Novo.
This is not the first time that the daughter of US President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, has visited Vlora. Together with her husband Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump spent a few days of her summer vacation last June in the coastal city. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
