TIRANA, January 8 /ATA/ Due to bad weather and turbulent seas, the ferry departing from Corfu did not sail to the port of Saranda today.
Director of the Port Authority of Saranda Admir Malaj told ATA today that, “The heavy rain and wind have caused the suspension of the ferry sailing that comes every day from Corfu to the port of Saranda”.
Malaj stressed that the Port Authority has also suspended the sailing of small fishing boats during these days.
Malaj said that, “The situation is being monitored and there will be a new announcement regarding the ferry sailing depending on the weather conditions”. /k.s/r.e/a.f/p.s./
