TIRANA, Dec 5 /ATA/ The National Agency for Information Society, represented by Enis Ylli, Director of the Directorate for Monitoring and Cyber Protection of e-Gov Systems and Infrastructures, participated in a technical workshop organised to discuss the new draft law ‘On Electronic Identification, Trusted Services, and the Digital Identity Wallet.
AKSHI states that the initiative seeks to align the national framework with the eIDAS 2.0 regulation and the latest European standards in digital identity.
This development is part of Albania’s commitments under the EU Growth Plan, with AKSHI responsible for leading and implementing the digital identity wallet,’ the statement added.
The activity presented the main functionalities, technical components, and methods of integration with national digital services, aiming to ensure a secure, verifiable identity that can be used across both public and private platforms.
