TIRANA, Nov 18 /ATA/ Intense rainfall is sweeping across the entire country.
President of the Republic Bajram Begaj has urged the public to take extra care amid the severe weather.
Begaj called on citizens to cooperate with the institutions placed on high alert to prevent major damage.
“Dear citizens, severe weather and heavy rain are sweeping across the country. Everyone’s caution matters! Institutions are on standby, but your cooperation can help prevent significant damage,” Begaj wrote.
According to IGJEO, the districts of Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tiranë, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Korçë, Vlorë, and Gjirokastër may experience flash floods in small mountain rivers and landslides.
Urban areas within these regions may be at risk of spot flooding.
