Koçiu in Farkë: Companies found in breach of construction permits are placed on a blacklist

TIRANA, Nov 14 /ATA/ Minister of Interior Albana Koçiu conducted another on-site inspection in Farkë today, within the framework of the operational campaign targeting unauthorized constructions and non-compliance with the terms of construction permits. The Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Tirana, Blendi Sula, and the Director of the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT), Dallëndyshe Bici.”
According to Koçiu, this is an unrelenting operation aimed at putting an end to territorial chaos. Koçiu emphasized that non-compliance entities are placed on a blacklist, unauthorized structures are demolished at the violators’ expense, and, where provided by law, they are confiscated.”

“We are once again inspecting in the Farkë area, reiterating that the enforcement action launched on November 3 continues apace. Our efforts will continue until all construction permits have been thoroughly reviewed to confirm adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.”

“All builders, designers, and stakeholders bear the sole responsibility of ensuring full legal compliance. To date, inspections have revealed multiple violations, including the absence of requisite technical documentation on-site, failure to submit phase-specific control reports, non-adherence to site organization plans, inadequate implementation of technical safety measures, and breaches of construction permit terms leading to unauthorized expansions of built-up areas.”

“Violators are immediately blacklisted, barred from applying for permits, required to cover demolition costs, and, where legally allowed, their structures may be confiscated for public or social housing purposes,” stated Koçiu.
Deputy Mayor Blendi Sula stated that most construction permits in Farkë, Lundër, and Bathore have not been properly implemented. The municipality has provided all permits to IKMT for full verification of compliance with rules and urban planning requirements.”
