TIRANA, October 23/ATA/ Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro visited the “Jakov Xoxa” art school in Fier.
After the reconstruction of this school, there is significantly improved the quality of teaching.
“The “Jakov Xoxa” school is a special art gallery”, said Kumbaro, who met closely with students in figurative arts, music and choreography and got acquainted with the dedication and passion of the teachers.
Kumbaro said that, “Investments in infrastructure, didactic base and curricula have expanded the offer of this school for the students of Fier and the surrounding areas, whose talents can turn into a profession and shine in the future”.
After an investment of 70 million lekë by the Albanian government in cooperation with Fier municipality, this school offers standard conditions for students passionate about art.
The reconstruction of the school included 6200 square meters of interior space and 4500 m2 of exterior grounds.
The “Jakov Xoxa” Art School was built in 1966 and is named after the patriarch of Albanian literature, the writer from Myzeqe area Jakov Xoxa. /k.s/j.p/r.e/p.s./
