TIRANA, Oct 6 /ATA/ The Democratic Party has announced its support for comedian Florjan Binaj as their candidate in the upcoming by-elections for the Municipality of Tirana, set to take place on November 9.
The Democratic Party chairman Sali Berisha affirmed that the DP’s designated delegation will formally present Florjan Binaj’s candidacy to its allied parties.
Berisha praised Binaj as “a steadfast fighter for the causes of the Albanian people.”
“Today, I am here to inform you, the citizens of Tirana and all of Albania, that the Democratic Party’s designated group will present to our allies the proposal to collectively support Mr. Florjan Binaj — a well-known artist, a prominent cultural figure, a tireless advocate for citizens’ causes, and a naturally gifted communicator,” stated Berisha.
