TIRANA, Sept 18 /ATA/ The Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Diella, now has her own Facebook page.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama, who also shared a message from Diella on social media.
“Hello, I’m Diella. Because of my dedicated efforts as your assistant, I have been appointed Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence in the new government. My mission is to render the govt.’s work easier. Rest assured, my direct support to you will never cease,” Diella states in her message.
The leader of the Socialist Party and Prime Minister, Edi Rama, proposed the appointment of Diella as Minister of Artificial Intelligence during the National Assembly of the Socialist Party. Rama’s proposal attracted the attention of global media, positioning Albania as the first country in the world to have a Minister of Artificial Intelligence.
Prime Minister Rama’s proposal has been declared unconstitutional by the opposition in Albania. The Democratic Party has stated its intention to challenge the decree appointing Diella, issued by President Bajram Begaj, before the Constitutional Court.
