TIRANA, August 21/ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu shared today in the social media a view of the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center, where work is underway completing the final tasks needed to finalize the construction of the of the new Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital and make it ready for use.
Koçiu appreciated this investment as one of the most important in the health system, which will guarantee provide of modern and specialized services for patients.
“The University Hospital Center, where work is underway on the final details of the new Cardiovascular Surgery Hospital, is one of the most important investments in our health system,” wrote Minister Koçiu.
This investment is financed by the Albanian government worth 4.3 million euros, within the framework of the modernization of the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center. It is a radical investment, the first of this size since the construction of this hospital in the 1980s.
New medical equipment is also planned for this hospital, whose construction is expected to be completed in December 2024.
