TIRANA, August 13/ATA/ In context of the situation created by the wildfires in several areas of the country, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has immediately set up the emergency mechanism for the mobilization of all health and logistical structures in the affected areas.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu said today that, “The Health Care Services Operator, the National Medical Emergency Center, the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center, the University Trauma Hospital and all regional hospitals are in continuous coordination for the operational support of the structures involved in this emergency”.
Koçiu emphasized that, “There is an ongoing cooperation with the local government and civil protection for the evacuation and treatment of affected residents”.
“Our priority is to guaranteeing the non-stop continuity of health services without interruption and provide of immediate assistance to every citizen in need”, emphasized Koçiu. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
