TIRANA, August 8 /ATA/ Food prices contributed to the increase in inflation during July 2025 at 2.5%, remaining below the 3% target of the Bank of Albania.
The Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) reported today that for July 2025 inflation increased to 2.5%, compared to 2.1% last year.
According to INSTAT, the consumer price increase in July was mainly influenced by the group “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” with 1.08% followed by the group “Rent, water, fuel and energy” with 0.61%. /p.s./
