TIRANA, July 30 /ATA/ The Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime sentenced today the former mayor of Himara Jorgo Goro to two years in prison for abuse of office, for alienation of a piece of land in Livadh area.
Due to the shortened trial, Goro’s sentence is reduced by 1/3, being finally sentenced by the Special Court of First Instance to 1 year and 4 months in prison. Goro is also deprived of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years. /m.q/r.e/p.s./
