Customs revenues grow by 3.3% in first half of 2025

TIRANA, July 3 /ATA/ – Albania’s Customs Administration achieved 100% of its revenue target for the first six months of 2025, collecting 113.7 billion lek (€920 million), marking a 3.3% increase compared to the same period last year.

The growth was driven largely by increased volumes of excise goods cleared, including 44,000 tons of fuel, 96 tons of cigarettes, 97 tons of coffee, and 4,770 tons of beer.

The General Directorate of Customs highlighted that despite macroeconomic challenges, sustained performance, procedural innovation, and record excise clearances position the institution for continued positive results in the second half of the year.
