TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/ – Albanian Parliament Speaker Elisa Spiropali met on Monday with Fuat Oktay, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, during an official visit to Tirana.
Oktay was accompanied by a delegation of Turkish lawmakers. The meeting was also attended by members of the Albania – Türkiye Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Discussions between Spiropali and Oktay focused on strengthening parliamentary ties, support for the strategic partnership between Albania and Türkiye, and cooperation within NATO.
The two sides also addressed regional security, Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration, and longstanding bilateral relations.
