TIRANA, June 26 /ATA/ – In May and June, the OSCE Presence in Albania donated advanced IT and media equipment to the Central Election Commission.
This donation contributes to strengthening the CEC’s capacities for electoral-related tasks, including in-country and out-of-country voting counting process, data management and processing, media production and trainings through modern tools and technology.
The OSCE Presence said Thursday that the goal of the donation is to help ensure more transparent elections, capacitated staff, improved voter education and increased civic engagement.
This equipment will remain a valuable asset for the CEC, driving the digital upgrade of electoral administration and boosting efficiency and resilience in future electoral processes.
This donation is part of the continuous assistance of the Presence to supporting CEC, our long term and strategic partner, to further improve the organization and administration of electoral processes in Albania.
The donation was made possible as part of OSCE Presence’s project “Support to electoral reform and processes in Albania” funded by Sweden, Switzerland, the U.S. Mission to the OSCE and Poland.
