TIRANA, June 22 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, reacted today in connection with the United States’ strikes on Iran’s nuclear enrichment facilities.
In a social media post, Berisha described the obliteration of nuclear sites as a new opportunity and a powerful call for Iranians, both in Iran and around the world, to unite for a free and democratic Iran.
He stated that the obliteration—effectively the destruction—of the Ayatollahs’ nuclear sites in Iran by U.S. air forces last night constitutes a significant new opportunity and a compelling call for Iranians, both domestically and globally, to unite in the effort to overthrow the obscurantist theocratic regime and to pursue the establishment of a free and democratic Iran.
American aircraft attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Natanz, Esfahan, and the Fordow uranium enrichment site.
In a speech addressed to the nation from the White House, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facilities were obliterated following the American military strikes.
