TIRANA, June 20 /ATA/ – Tirana hosted one of the most significant regional events of the year, ALForum 2025, taking place from June 18 to 20.

The event brought together around 1,000 participants from 43 Euro-Mediterranean countries, representatives from civil society, academia, media, youth leadership, and influential institutions to discuss intercultural dialogue, sustainable development, and regional cooperation

Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Goxhja stated that “in a time of complex challenges, the forum demonstrated that dialogue, supported by knowledge, creativity, and mutual respect, remains the most sustainable way to build the future.”

“For three consecutive days, Tirana transformed into a vibrant space where culture, art, diplomacy, and civic engagement intertwined to redefine Euro-Mediterranean partnership based on human values and solidarity,” Goxhja said in a social media post.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the Anna Lindh Foundation and Princess Rym Ali for their leadership and commitment to Mediterranean cooperation.

“A special thanks to the European Commission, the Union for the Mediterranean, the Municipality of Tirana, and all partners for their trust and valuable collaboration,” Goxhja concluded.
