TIRANA, June 16/ATA/ As part of his official visit to China, Rector of the University of Tirana Artan Hoxha held an official meeting at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU).
During the meeting with Secretary of BFSU Wang Dinghua, there were discussed opportunities for promotion of cooperation in the field of education and scientific research, with a focus on the Albanian language and multidisciplinary teaching.
The parties expressed their willingness to increase academic exchanges and expand the areas of cooperation between the two universities, further promoting friendship and cooperation between Albania and China.
Attending the meeting were deans and professors from the University of Tirana, director of the “Confucius” Institute at the University of Tirana as well as Rector of the Polytechnic University of Tirana, prof. dr. Akli Fundo.
Present from the Chinese side were Jin Limin, director of the Confucius Institute Office at the BFSU, Ke Jing, dean of the School of European Languages and Cultures as well as other senior representatives of the university. /k.s/r.e/j.p/p.s./
