TIRANA, May 25/ATA/ The Mobile Blood Donation Unit has been moving throughout the country, thus expanding this life-saving initiative.
Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu said that, “This week, this unit will be in the municipality of Durrës and in institutions that have wholeheartedly joined this cause”.
Koçiu appealed to citizens to donate blood.
“A small donation, a life saved. Let us become a light of hope for those who need it the most”, said Koçiu.
The blood donation campaign aims to ensure sufficient reserves for patients who need urgent treatment, including people with chronic diseases and those undergoing surgical interventions. /k.s/r.e/p.s./
