TIRANA, May 10 /ATA/ – The Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxha hosted a European Parliament delegation on Saturday.
Interior Minister Hoxha said in a social media post that the meeting focused on commitment for a smooth, peaceful and fair election process in line with the best international standards.
“I welcomed a delegation of members of European Parliament, who are visiting Albania in the framework of the May 11 parliamentary elections,” Hoxha said.
Interior Minister underlined that he had reassured MEPs of the commitment to ensure peaceful, fair and transparent election process.
“I assured MPs of our commitment to ensure peaceful, fair and transparent election process in line with the best standards. The meeting also offered a good opportunity to share with them some of the key steps we have taken to further strengthen state institutions,” the Interior Minister said.
