TIRANA, May 1/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that the Socialist Party, which has led the country for 12 years, has a crystal-clear and detailed program for governing Albania, even in a fourth mandate.
In his “Eye to Eye” feature in the social media, where the prime minister has chosen to answer questions from his followers, Rama said that the process of negotiations for Albania’s membership in the European Union (EU) is evidence of the credibility of the SP’s program.
According to Rama, if the EU did not have any confidence in the Socialist Party’s program, the process of negotiations for membership would not have begun.
“Ours is a governance program, in detail”, he emphasized.
Rama spoke about the country’s progress during his government.
“If Albania were not a country that has made progress, we would not be sitting at the negotiating table with the EU. The EU does not negotiate with countries that do not meet the standards and criteria for membership,” he concluded. /j.p/p.s./
