TIRANA, April 29 (ATA) Deputy Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Sokol Duma, together with Acting Director General of the Directorate General of Intellectual Property Maria Solis Kapedani received Vice President for Legal and International Affairs of the European Patent Office (EPO) Christoph Ernst.
The meeting took place within framework of the high-level conference for World Intellectual Property Day and served as a platform for strengthening bilateral relations and exchanging experiences in the field of innovation and protection of intellectual property rights.
“We reaffirmed our commitment to advance concrete plans and strengthen our bilateral partnership, with the aim of further developing the intellectual property system in Albania and bringing it closer to European standards of innovation and protection of rights,” stated Deputy Minister Duma after the meeting.
The parties appreciated the importance of strategic cooperation in the framework of European integration and the promotion of the innovation and investment climate in Albania. /j.p/p.s./
