TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/ During a meeting in the capital, Agron Shehaj, chairman of the “Opportunity” party, expressed confidence that the change rejected by the old parties will come on May 11. He urged the citizens to use their vote to make this change a reality.
Shehaj stated that, “Never before the members of a political force—untainted, incorruptible, and transparent with citizens about financing—have entered Parliament.”
Speaking about the political force he leads, Shehaj said, “No one can make accusations against us or hold us hostage. We are honest individuals with no ties to the government, and we have not sought support from anyone. We are not secretly funded by anyone, and this intimidates them—both the opposition and the majority.”
Shehaj stated, “We are aware that we are in a battle; this is the fight for change, and they will fight every day, all together, to prevent that change.”
“This is just the beginning. It’s not about me; it’s about change, and it’s about you and your desire for change. But change can’t come on its own. Everyone needs to go out and vote because change cannot be stopped. On May 11, we have the opportunity to vote,” emphasized Shehaj.
