Rama: Pyramid-like project for technology talents in Shkodra

TIRANA, April 25/ATA/ Prime Minister and Socialist Party leader Edi Rama held a meeting with representatives of small businesses in the Northern city of Shkodra to present the government’s economic initiatives in support of them.

In his speech, Rama said that, “We have now entered a new phase for all the talented young people of the world of technology who have started to develop their businesses.”

“We have already the first technological park “Durana” active, where you can also register virtually”, said Rama.

“We are completing another very high-quality base in Vlora”, he added.

The Pyramid of Tirana, Rama emphasized, “is the first swallow and according to the Pyramid model, we shall have one in Shkodra for those who are older and who initially need support so that they can sit and work, because they do not have the capacity to have their own offices, pay rents, etc. The government already has the project for Shkodra with the Albanian Development Fund”.

Rama said that there are two options to realize this project in Shkodra.

“One option is to use part of the TV Shkodra building. Another option, which is more ambitious, larger but which requires more investment, is at the venues of the Wire Factory. We are working on both options, we will see their progress”, Rama emphasized.

“I believe that we should move forward with a joint program of the government and the municipality specifically for art and culture focused in Shkodra. Art and culture here have a tradition and after combining it with the other elements that the city has, they can have a great impact for more tourism, for more business”, Rama said. /j.p/p.s./
