TIRANA, March 31/ATA/ UK hosts first major international summit to tackle illegal migration. In this context, the UK has mobilized over 40 countries and organizations to attend the summit where to launch an unprecedented global fight against ruthless people smuggling gangs.
Albania’s Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxha participated in the welcoming ceremony of the delegations participating in the summit, together with Head of the Criminal Police Department Neritan Nallbati and the Head of the Border Police Saimir Boshnjaku.
“With Home Secretary of Great Britain Yvette Cooper we share a crystal clear success story of police cooperation which led to a significant reduction in illegal migration, but we have also built close cooperation in the fight against organized crime”, emphasized Minister Hoxha, after the conversation with his British counterpart. /a.f/p.s./
