TIRANA, March 27 /ATA/ – Albanian Army’s Symphonic Orchestra and France’s Musique de la Garde Républicaine jointly performed a few days ago in Val-de-Grâce Church, one of the oldest and stunning religious and cultural monuments in Paris.
Prime Minister Edi Rama took to the social media on Thursday to share images showing the special concert, a unique combination of both cultures.
“May you have a peaceful night at this moment of pride. A special night at the heart of Paris, where the Symphonic Orchestra of Albanian Armed Dorces and France’s Musique de la Garde Républicaine performed a unique combination of both cultures through music played by the servicemen from the two countries, bringing together Kujtim Laro’s mastery and the magic of Georges Bizet into one single space,” Rama wrote.
The event also saw the participation of French guitarist Emmanuel Rossfelder, an internationally renowned soloist.
The Armed Forces Symphony Orchestra and the Musique de la Garde Républicaine presented a diverse selection of repertoire from both countries to the audience.
