PM Rama says SP to unveil strategic program tomorrow

TIRANA, March 26 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama announced Wednesday that his ruling Socialist Party will unveil its “Albania 2030” strategic program tomorrow.

Presenting the Socialist candidates for the northwestern region of Shkoder, PM Rama said that unlike opposition, his party focuses on governing program and major development projects instead of electoral promises.

“Tomorrow, together with the Socialist MPs, we will unveil Albania 2030 program to outline some of the main program pillars, because, unlike others that prepare electoral programs, we have drafted a detailed and mass program for each sector. It is a governing program and not electoral promises,” PM Rama said.

In his remarks, the government head reiterated the importance of the May 11 parliamentary elections for Albania’s European Union accession process, saying this is a landmark moment for Albania.

Rama emphasized the need for a strong mandate for the ruling Socialists to ensure that Albania’s European Union accession process doesn’t face any setbacks.

The government head stated that Albania should not miss this opportunity, claiming that without the ruling SP, Albania’s path to the EU could fall apart.
