TIRANA, March 20/ATA/ Minister of Health and Social Protection Albana Koçiu highlighted in a post in the social media the significance of oral health in the framework of World Oral Health Day.
According to her, during the period January-December 2024, about 12 thousand citizens received free of charge services at the University Dental Clinic, while in the first quarter of the current year alone, about 3 thousand patients were treated with specialized dental services.
“Thanks to the government’s support and continuous investments, we continue to expand access to dental care, especially for the elderly and the strata in need. A happy mouth is a healthier life!”, said Koçiu.
In the video published by Minister Koçiu, there are also interviews of several patients who express their satisfaction with the service received.
“The service is very good, just like in a private clinic, if not even better than in the private. This is not only my opinion, but also my friends’ opinion. We are very satisfied with the service and it’s free of charge,” he said. /a.f//r.e/p.s./
