TIRANA, March 20 /ATA/ – The first instance Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has accepted a request filed by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SPAK) and has ordered for the Socialist Party lawmaker Plarent Ndreca and 15 other suspects to stand trial on corruption charges.

According to the media reports, SPAK has accused Ndreca of manipulating public tenders for the reconstruction of four police stations and violating fair competition rules during his tenure as Secretary General of the Interior Ministry.
