TIRANA, March 16 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama has unveiled the newcomers to the Socialist Party’s team competing in the May 11 parliamentary elections in Albania during a 10-hour marathon broadcast on his “Let’s Talk” podcast show on Saturday.
The government head took to the social media to post the photo gallery showing the exclusive episodes entitled “New Party for Albania in the EU” to introduce the 80 Socialist candidates.
The government head began the podcast with a monologue to outline the Socialist Party’s goal to secure a fourth mandate in a bid to advance Albania’s accession to the European Union.
He promised an EU passport for every Albanian citizen, unlocking free movement, study and work throughout Europe.
“For you to obtain the EU passport, all we need is just a fourth term, but a much stronger one than the three previous mandates. So, if you want an EU passport within this decade, there is only one way – vote for it,” Rama said.
