Berisha on lists: The most transparent process ever conducted within Democratic Party

TIRANA, March 12 /ATA/ The DP chairman Sali Berisha stated today that the approval of the parliamentary candidate lists is the most transparent process ever conducted within the party.

Berisha described the approval of the lists as “the most important decisionmaking of this four-year period.”

He emphasized, “This is the most transparent process ever conducted in the history of the Democratic Party, with the widest possible participation, representing all sentiments, all strata, subgroups, and communities of Albanian society.”

On top of that, the leader of the Democratic Party said, “These parliamentary candidates have the upper hand as they are also representatives of the strongest coalition Albania has seen in 32 years. This coalition, comprising around 25 parties, represents nearly one-third of the Albanian electorate, excluding the Democratic Party.”

Berisha stated, “This constitutes a significant advantage for the Alliance for a Great Albania and the Democratic Party, an advantage that has disheartened the opposing side, which is unravelling.”

Berisha emphasized, “The ‘Alliance for a Great Albania’ presents to the Albanian people the most dignified list ever, with determined fighters of its just causes, who in the past four years have fought the most powerful battles on behalf of the opposition in Albania.”

Berisha stated, “The list comprises renowned specialists, representatives of Albanian intellectuals, the diaspora, and various communities, providing an unprecedented level of representation among the Albanian electorate. It includes distinguished women and driven young people.”

The leader of the Democratic Party emphasized, “The leadership will make the final selection of these candidates.”
