TIRANA, March 8 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted the Socialist Party’s role in Albania’s achievements in advancing women’s leadership in decision-making as he addressed an event to mark the International Women’s Day on Saturday.
The government head stated that the Socialist Party should be given praise for enhancing women’s participation in politics and all levels of decision-making process in Albania.
Rama underlined that progress in expanding space for women’s representation is a significant reflection of progress of Albania itself.
“For this, we Albanian Socialists have all the reasons to be prouder than anyone else,” he added.
PM Rama vowed to further promote women empowerment and their participation and representation level in the country.
