TIRANA, January 27 /ATA/ Last weekend, there was held a cleaning campaign on the beach of Velipoja, Shkodra.
This campaign was organized by the young volunteers of the “Eko Mendje”, who have set an excellent example of service to Shkodra community.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared footage from this campaign in the social media, where the young people cleaned the territory of the Velipoja beach from garbage.

Mayor of Shkodra Benet Beci also echoed the youth cleaning campaign expressing in the social media his gratitude for the continuous contribution of the young people of the “Eko Mendje”, to make Shkodra a clean and modern city.
In Velipoja, there has been made a very visible change releasing the public spaces, making an aesthetic arrangement of the area, as well as keeping it clean.
Thanks to these changes, during the recent years there has been a high frequency of visits to Velipoja beach by local and foreign holidaymakers. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
