TIRANA, Dec 30 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ – The new centralized digital portal “Transparent Albania” is designed to provide citizens with real-time data and easy access to official government information, prioritizing budget transparency and promoting accountability, Prime Minister Edi Rama said on Monday.
Asked by reporters about the recently-launched “Transparent Albania” platform, the government head said that it has been designed to empower citizens and journalists alike by offering real-time access to details about public spending and policymaking.
“The platform is still being constructed and I am confident it will become operational by half of next year and everyone will receive real-time information on everything taking place in Albania, on public spending, every contract and decision,” Rama said.
“Transparent Albania” will serve as a meaningful and accessible tool, reflecting a modernized and transparent Albania on its path to EU membership.
