TIRANA, December 19/ATA/ Shkodra Municipal Council approved the 2025 budget today.
Mayor of Shkodra Benet Beci was present at the meeting proceedings of the Municipal Council and presented the innovations of the 2025 budget, while also listing the priorities.
Beci emphasized that his vision and that of the socialist majority is for Shkodra to become the capital of the region. He said that the investments reach the figure of 45 million euros. The opposition opposed the presented budget, while also attempting to block the proceedings.
After the debate, the Municipal Council approved the Shkodra municipality budget for 2025 with 30 votes in favor.
After the budget vote in the municipal council, Mayor Beci, in a post on social networks, wrote: “Today, at the Municipal Council meeting, I made a very concrete presentation of the successfully completed investments, those in process and those planned to start in 2025.”
“These are projects that improve public services and the quality of life of every resident, both in the central and peripheral neighborhoods of the city, as well as in the villages of the Shkodra municipality, from Velipoja to Dukagjin,” said Beci. /a.f/r.e/p.s./
