TIRANA, Dec 18 /ATA/ Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj participated on Wednesday in the ceremony marking the conclusion of the project for the training of internal auditors in the public sector (TIAPS).
Malaj emphasized that the certification of the new generation of auditors, who will contribute thanks to cooperation with Slovenia’s Center for Excellence in Finance, the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accounting (CIPFA), and the Support for Governance and Management Improvement Program (OECD Sigma), guarantees improvement of internal auditing systems in Albania.
“The completion of the TIAPS training does not mean the end of the journey; instead, it signals a new beginning for enhancing the internal auditing function and establishing the groundwork for future initiatives,” said Malaj.
