TIRANA, November 27/ATA/ The government approved today the New Year bonus for 724,933 pensioners.
Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja said that this is the largest bonus ever given to pensioners.
After the government meeting, Gonxhja said during a briefing with reporters that, 511,173 pensioners with pensions up to 20,000 lekë will receive a bonus of 15,000 lekë and 213,760 pensioners with pensions over 20,000 lekë will benefit from a bonus of 10,000 lekë.
Gonxhja also said that 65,763 disabled pensioners, 44,561 widows and widowers, will get the full bonus of 15,000 lekë.
