TIRANA, Nov 1 /ATA/ – Albanian weightlifter Ertjan Kofsha won three medals and claimed the vice-champion title at the U20-U23 European Weightlifting Championships in Raszyn, Poland.
The Albanian weightlifter earned gold medal in the snatch category after lifting 162 kg and added two silver medals in the clean and jerk, achieving 192 kg and a combined total of 354 kg, claiming the Europe’s vice-champion title.
This success stands as an encouraging sign for Albanian weightlifting, which has faced a challenging few years.
Albanian athletes are once again capturing attention on the international stage, proudly representing the country.
