TIRANA, October 31/ATA/ Speaker of the Parliament Elisa Spiropali responded to the call of the leader of the “Rightwards 1912” Party, who asked the ruling majority to sit and talk with the opposition in order to resolve the tense situation in the Albanian Parliament which goes on for several weeks.
Spiropali said that the ruling majority was ready to sit and discuss with the opposition.
“We are ready to sit anytime, but let’s take the chairs in which the citizens have elected us, not burn them,” stated the Speaker of the Parliament.
Spiropali said that we cannot continue in this hall with the cyclical repetition of artificial situations that do not originate from the problems of parliamentarism.
“I understand that it is difficult, but we cannot continue in a cyclical manner to repeat such situations in this hall, completely artificial that do not originate from the problems of parliamentarism, but originate from the thorny problems that the Albanian political parties have”, she said. /r.e/a.f/p.s./
