PRISHTINA, October 31/ATA/ Kosovo FM Donika Gërvalla rejected Serbia’s claims arguing that no one has excluded Serbs from Kosovo’s institutions.
She said that the Serbs have begun to get integrated into the state institutions of Kosovo and she hopes that this will go ahead in the future.
“The threats from Belgrade will not be able to stop those who want to live in a free and democratic Kosovo”, said the foreign minister.
“Serbia has demanded that the Serbs of Kosovo must abandon the institutions and has even threatened those who ignored the demand, so Serbia has made it impossible for them to continue to be in the institutions of Kosovo”, Gërvalla said in her closing speech in UN Security Council meeting gathered on the UNMIK report in New York.
“The EU has already criticized Vucic’s threats with the recent measures taken. However, the threats will not be able to prevent the shaping of a better future in Kosovo”, Gërvalla concluded. /Kosovapress/p.s./
